So, as everyone knows, I love to play with new products and see what I do and don't like about each one. As well as coming up with tips and tricks to find the best uses for each product. So today, I broke down and bought one of the new Prima Princesses Cling Stamps (Grace). I have been eyeing these for a few weeks but couldn't bring myself to buy one. Of course, a friend of mine is getting married and this gave me the perfect excuse to buy one of these beauties. Safe to say, I'm in love.

These stamps are pretty big when you open them. They can be intimidating for someone who hasn't done a lot of background stamping since they are so big, but I love that they come in that beautiful teal color. Oh my gosh I love it so much!!
To get a clean stamp, I stuck my stamp to the top of my table top (I have a wooden table where I do a lot of my work). It works better than using a stamping block too since stamping blocks are hard to use at this size. I inked it while it was stuck to the table, and then laid by paper over it and pressed down. It came out beautifully!

After, I painted her with the Watercolor Technique (See my Distress Oxide blog post for this technique). I used a mix of Distress Ink and Distress Oxide.

Finally, I trimmed it down to fit on a card front, but these beautiful girls are fit to be framed. I think I will do some of these framed pieces for my bathroom. It will give me an excuse to buy a few more.
