We all have that person in our lives who loves something magically - unicorns, fairies or mermaids - here is a perfect card for someone who loves a little magic in their lives.

I used the Tim Holtz Distress Oxide directly on the card (Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, Faded Jeans, Salty Ocean). I put a line of Washi Tape to prevent ink from getting on the back of my card and a Tim Holtz Mini Ink Blender to apply it.

I started with Salty Ocean but you can start with any color.

Layer your colors until you are satisfied with you back ground. When you are done, remove your tape and fold your card over. Be sure to let the Oxide Ink dry for a few minutes so you don't get it all over everything.

I used the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the background, which I got from the blog Random Vintage Finds (Link Below). Free download for any electronic cutter! It is just adorable! :)

I used my Cameo to cut out this little banner piece. I stamped and cut out my little mermaid from Lawn Fawn's We Mermaid for Each other. The "Sea you soon" is also from that same set.

Attach the saying and color your mermaid. Attach them to your card with double sided tape (I used Tombow Tape Runner)

All Done! Hope I get to "Sea" you again on here soon!
